Eatin Alive!
So I was taking a break from painting the bathroom with Adrian, and was downstairs making him a coffee. I walked around my living room bored while I was waiting for the water to boil and turned around to look outside the back window, when suddenly I saw this ---------------------->
It was a medium/big bird of some sorts standing on something. To me, it looked like a small bird or mouse.
Adrian suspects it could be a Coopers Hawk!
So it stands on it's prey, and sticks it talons into it's body, crushing and pretty much stabbing it until it's dead.
LUNCH IS SERVED!

Guna be honest tho as much fun as it was for them and how boring it is for them on a day to day...i don't know if dancing around in front of other militarise and on the streets is the best way to up hold the discipline strictness of the US ARMY and IMAGE it has........ but who am i to say anything.

Libya
Libya is a sad situation. Ordinary people fighting and dying for their basic human rights while the government and Gaddafi threaten and brutalize them and claim that they are under the influence of hallucinagenic drugs supplied by the Americans among other things. I know we all have our own lives to live and have our own problems, and are pretty much stairing down the barrell of a hopeless situation in Libya, but at what point can we stop being (fill in nationality) and start being human? Our lives aren't pretty but at least the government isn't hunting us down like dogs with mercenaries and helicopter gunships. What brave and beautiful people, I wish them the best...

last weekend
Well today marks the last possible week i am going to have free hopefully if all goes well I'll painting and staining wooden doors into the to summer and possible future.

What to do?
Well its not so much the winter blues but it is starting to piss me off winter is starting to drag on to long. First there's a shit load of snow then there's none then more comes. I know its part of being Canadian.
Seriously tho what do i do ? I'm use to just going for walks down town on the harbour front or going to markets on the weekend. but the snow isn't doing it for me so now i have to come up with a mid winter blues pick me up.
Well its too cold out side the jays are on there off season, Lis isn't convinced on going to a Mariles game yet so what do you do maybe this?
if anyone has any good ideas for a Saturday afternoon preferably indoor out of old man winters way let me know!!!!

Fuck You Fox
Recently a story has been brought to my attention by Fox News. A child, first reported on CBC, is to be taken off life support in London because medical experts say there is nothing they can do for his condition. Now this is an important case in its own right but here is where I have a problem.
The ONLY American news source to report on this is the right-leaning anti-"obamacare" establishment Fox News.
This is an important story in its own right but to publish it for purely political reasons...sickening. Medical officials don't want the boy to suffer, and I hope the best for the boy's life, but come on! 99 times out of a 100, I would rather a court, appointed by the people, to decide on life rather than some private board at a hospital or an executive at an insurance company. Eat it

Old Man River...
More like "Old Man Winter" .... What is wrong with this weather?! First, we have beautiful springy-like temperatures and now there's three inches of snow on the ground!?
I'm not trying to bitch about it much, because there are some days seeing a beautiful blanket of untouched snow makes me really appreciate the white wet stuff... but COME ON!
I want warm sunny weather. Cool breezes touching the back of my neck while I am taking a long walk on the lakeshore! Oh well, I guess I will have to suck it up, and continue to grunt and groan whenever I have to head outside.
On the bright side of things, Adrian and I went to this little shop near Osgoode station, and got quite the little gadget! ;)

I don't know about everyone else, but sometimes I wonder whether I'm a good man or a coward that hides behind 'principles'. Maybe that's why nice guys finish last, psychopaths top the corporate ladder, and why the christian God still hasn't got around to taking the devil out (at least new testament god, old testament god was bad ass). Egypt the rise and not so much fall
Egypt has been in a up roar for the past eight or nine days depending on where you live. I'm not sure when this all started but for some living there I'm sure this has been going on for some time only not to this big of scale.
Well whats next for this Country? The Egypt Government fired everyone in the cabinet and to my understanding that means there's only two people in power. one of them is the is both head of state and head of Government . The second is the people who are not backing down from what they think is right and wrong.
It almost seems like a battle between good and evil.
With all that has and is going on in Egypt Especially in Tahrir Square are surrounded by pro-Mubarak groups.
This is a big situation for not only there country but ours. One thing i have always liked about Europe and other countries on that side of the world is the ability of the people not the government or the army but the people who come together against there government. Now I'm not saying government is a bad thing yes we need them, the point is it seems that in Canada and the USA when there are protest they seem to never last as long as the out roars in Europe and like this current situation Egypt. When was the last time Canadians got together for something and not only tell but show the Government that were pissed off and want change other then things like the G 20 Summit that only go on for a few days and then its all wrapped up. What do we do? We go to vote for the same people based on the same bulls shit.
Time will tell if the USA has learned there lesson tho Lots of people are pushing for Obama ministration to step in. I say Let them Figure this out I'm sure they will don't go poking your nose in other peoples stuff cause just like in the school yard when i was a kid you did that you lost friends made enemies and maybe end up in a fight at the end of the day.
As far and the Reporters go that are being harassed and in harms way like Anderson Cooper they know and understand the risks of the job something breaks out and they go . Just like our Police Service and Fire Rescue services and Ems. they get the call they go no matter what because that's there jobs and if they weren't there they wouldn't be doing there jobs.
Yes it sucks that there are always casualties in these situations and injuries but i that always is the way it goes and that's always what it takes for changes to take place.
