Settle Superman

It's not the pain that makes the experience so bad, it's the fact that you can't eat anything that could even comes close to being able to be called 'food'. Furthermore, panzy man, no one sitts around and twiddles their thumbs all day, they get up, walk around, sit on the computer, and play music cause when you are under that much anisthetic, what the hell else is there to do. People are supposed to lay around though because it is not good to move much as it gets the blood and the pain pumping and leaves the wound open longer and therefore more vulnerable to infection. The Pain may not have gotten you yet because much of the pain stuff they gave you at the office may still be in effect. As well, quoting a dentist info sheet, "smoking should be avoided for a few days after dental extractions because smoking disturbs blood clot formation". Also, since there is no blood clotting, "the gums cannot grow over the extraction socket because there's nothing to grow over and the hole remains open" leading to more enduring pain. Sounds pleasent. So the fun may yet begin, but you also may have gotten out easy. All you need is just a little patience.
